The Saint Vincent's chapel its presbitary and the castle on the Séquère plateau, contemplate us for more than 10 centuries, but continue to worsen for decades:
Abandon, ignorance, cupidity, lacks of means, seeking tranquility, or simply indifference? It does not really matter...
« We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children". This proverb is telling us something. So what? Let's join forces to save the architectural and historical patrimony of the Séquère plateau.
As in other places in the department and in France, volunteers get mobilized on protection and restoration of patrimony projects.
It is a very long way looking for funding, skills, times, willingness... pour design and build shared solutions.

Unfortunatly, like Notre-Dame de Paris, whose restoration has mobilized thousands of passionate individuals, we believed in the strength of collective effort to preserve our local heritage. Unfortunately, the refusal of collaboration from our municipality has brought an end to our mission.
As a result, the association will be dissolved, and the funds we collected will be donated to the Prieuré de Marcevol Foundation, which will put them to good use. The website will remain active for a few more months.
Although our association is coming to an end, the journey we have taken together will always be a source of pride.
We thank you for everything we have accomplished together, and may 2025 be a year where the flame of preservation continues to shine in your hearts.
